AGM 2009 - In Brief

· Membership fees from 2010 will be Adult £27, Couple £44, Family £60, Junior £10, Novice £10, Social £10. The membership year to commence from 1st March
· On safety grounds RTRC supports the ban of fishing from the bridge in the navigable channel.
· There will be preliminary discussions with Teign Scullers regarding the formation of a combined club which will offer all forms of rowing (initial report back to the membership to be ready by Spring 2010)
· All coxes to be trained to the recognised standard of British Rowing Coastal Coxing Certificate Level One hopefully by the end of 2010. As a result of this all existing registered coxes will need to obtain the new qualification if they wish to remain a registered cox. If this applies to you then please contact kate.yeo@rtrc.co.uk about the course or discretionary route
· Privately owned seine boats and coxes required for training and racing novice crews junior crews. Contact Ian Mitchell
· CRB checks need to be completed for all those taking children out, the check will last for 3 years- contact Pat Atkins for details
· The club particularly needs and would like to hear from anyone who has practice in or willing to research and apply for funding grants and lottery bids.
· Help required in all areas : race crew, fund-raising, coxing juniors, coxing on novice nights
